The Laughing Man series was amazing, and definitely more than can be put in words. My attempt was certainly grabbing at just a few rationales and associations.

Thanks for the comments!

We must be cautious in this time. We elected the best man for the job (Obama) however the job is the problem. We elected someone who was less of an asshole than the rest but still an asshole in position. The president will always be an issue as long as he is from a major political party. He however is a good person and I hope for the best. No matter how you feel about him we must assume Obama will be out to oopsie us in one way or another. The whole democrat and republican thing is just a cold war where each takes its turn oopsieing over the other party. Neither party is innocent of crimes against the population at large. It?s like a card game where each takes its turn upping the stakes but no one ever calls. Both sides have nothing in their hands and are both bluffing.
The laughing man logo stands for more than can be simply put on paper. You need to watch the series all the way though in order to get the whole message. The series is one of my favorites something about the laughing man being the criminal then turning out to just be this cool dude who no one can find fault with.

What can I say? You were my inspiration. You didn't realize you were a political commentary muse, eh?
